FAQ

 

What types of payment are accepted?

All retainers MUST be paid via debit or credit card. Final payments can be made via card or cash.


At this time, I do NOT accept personal checks or app payments.

How do I book?

A non-refundable retainer equal to 50% of your service total is due upon booking. This holds your appointment date/time on my calendar exclusively for you.


  • FOR EVENT SERVICES: Your remaining balance is due at the time of completion of services and can either be charged to the card on file or paid in cash.
  • FOR BRIDAL SERVICES: To allow peace of mind on the wedding day, all final payments for bridal services are due no later than 30 days prior to the wedding day, as per the signed contract.
Where is your studio located?

My studio is located centrally in the Western Branch area of Portsmouth at 3104 Tyre Neck Rd, Portsmouth, VA Suite 201.


Services are by appointment only. At this time, I do not accept walk-ins.

How long does a typical appointment last?
  • For Hairstyling: A typical hairstyling appointment can be done in less than an hour but factors that can lengthen the time needed for your specific look can be things such as length of hair, thickness of hair, extension installation, and hair piece installation.
  • For Makeup: A typical full-face makeup application can, also, be done in less than an hour but factors that can lengthen the time needed for your specific look can be things such as increased distractions, eating/drinking during your appointment, or sensitivities to the eyes.
May I bring guests with me to my appointment?
  • No more than 2 guests are allowed to sit in the waiting area while you're receiving services.


  • For liability reasons, under no circumstances are guests below the age of 12 allowed within the studio.


  • Due to the studio size, unfortunately, no guests are allowed in the service room while services are being rendered.
What is your cancellation policy?
  • FOR NON-BRIDAL APPOINTMENTS: Cancellation may be done up until 2 hours prior to your appointment time without penalty. Cancellations made any less than 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.
  • FOR BRIDAL APPOINTMENTS: Cancellation may be done up until 90 days prior to your scheduled wedding day without penalty. Cancellations made any less than 90 days prior will be charged at the contractually obligated fee (contact me for further explanation).
Do you have a service minimum for weddings?

Yes. Weddings taking place between Mar 1st-October 31st require a service minimum of 3, including the bride for on-location services.


Have a smaller wedding party? No worries! You can either book your services to take place in-studio or pay the minimum required on-location fee of $550.
